Bright Ideas Roundup!

Welcome to the November edition of the Bright Ideas Link-
Up!

This one is a special one! Over the past 10 months, we have shared thousands of great ideas through our monthly Bright Ideas event. This month, we’re re-capping all of those great ideas, just in case you missed any! Below you will find some of my bright ideas from the past several months:

My first Bright Ideas blog post was about tips for getting your students to have meaningful discussions in the classroom, and you can read about it here:

My next post was about 4+ Ways to Use Old Calendar Math Cards.   I stopped using them awhile back because my wall space is filled with anchor charts (See first post above!  haha), and I moved everything to digital.

Next up was finding more instructional time by creating smoother transitions in your classroom.

Need an easy way to manage learning resources that you use on a consistent basis?  Check out this post:

Finally, my most recent blog post was about using Symbaloo in the classroom.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed these bright ideas, and that you have found an idea that you can use in your own classroom.  Please join me on Facebook or Pinterest for more great ideas!

  1. So many bright ideas I missed the first time around....I really want to check out symbaloo. It was also good to be reminded of adding sentence stems to an anchor chart for turn and talk. I forget easily and need to be reminded often. Thanks!!

  3. Love the music website! That is new to me. I also need to do more with Symbaloo. I love the idea of using it for homework since all my students have access to the Internet. Thanks for the great tips, Nicole!
