Spreading the Love

Hi Teaching Peeps,

Not sure how many of you have to teach this Friday.  But, I saw this on Pinterest and it made me grateful that we do not have class that day.  Could it be the Apocalypse is near? LOL

I'm sure we will all get through, like we always do.  If you are still looking for some FREE ideas, check out my Valentine's Day Pinterest Board.  Here are a few of my favorite ideas.

1)  Super cute flip flap Freebie from Simply Skilled in Second.  My students just finished her Famous American flip flap book and are already asking me when we can do another one.  Clearly addictive!  Click the pic to snatch it up.

2)  This looks like fun.  But, you won't cringe if admin walks in the room.

In our class we will be working on some fun Valentine's Day writing using materials from my The Many Pieces of My Heart Writing Activities and Craftivity pack.  Click on any of the images to find out more.

This activity is great because there are so many options inside, that every student will be able to create something special.

We'll also be pulling out a few literacy centers from this pack!

Should be a fun week.

Just one more thing.  This week I got a special package in the mail.  I ordered a Teacher Appreciation Day gift for my son's teacher from Stacey and Tara's new store, Tea and Coffee.

This little lovely arrived carefully packaged.

I am so excited for my son to give this to his wonderful teacher.  I love how personal this is, and who doesn't love a little Starbucks?

Click on any of the pics above to find out more about getting your own personalized clipboard, or to check out some of the other adorable, customized crafties they sell.

See ya,

Nicole

  1. Yeah... I think I figured out that Valentine's Day was also a Friday AND also a full moon on the day of the last full moon! I actually have an app on my iPhone that puts it on my calendar.... too much? I don't think so. I love to have plenty of warning for those awful days! Next Friday there just may have to be a Valentine movie of some sort during the afternoon! ;)
